Natural Bombe

Kontema, a sub-district in the Sidama region, is home to one of our coffee processing stations, also named Kontema. This station processes up to half a million kilograms of coffee each harvest season, sourcing varieties such as Bombe Kontema and Muraga. Nestled at an impressive elevation of 2100 to 2300 meters above sea level, the village is adorned with traditional handmade wooden doors and windows. The houses are built slightly elevated from the ground to prevent flooding. With its fertile soil and abundant rainfall, Kontema provides an exceptional environment for growing high-quality coffee.
